Saturday 16th- Whiteknights FC at the University of Reading
This was an excellent event consisting of teams from the Reading and surrounding areas, with a couple of guest teams from California to add to the glamour! And, with the premier leagues Reading mascot also on show to meet and greet the players it was guaranteed to be a good day out for the boys and parents in attendance.
The boys played really well and following some great games ended up winning the Plate competetion and returning on the M4 with the silverware.
Having hired a mini bus for the weekend the boys were in good singing voice on the return trip- with Chelsea songs to the fore!!
On the following day Sunday 17th we played at the Claygate Royals tournament at Imber Court, East Molesey. This was again an excellent day out and we were successful in getting through the group stage, to be knocked out in the semi finals 1-0 in the last minute of the game!
Having hired the mini bus for the w/end it was a shorter trip home but once more the boys found good voice!
Over the weekend a total of fourteen boys took part, being from the Colts and Juniors.
A great weekend- with the mini bus going down well with all.
A tour is in the offing!
