Registration and Payment of Membership Fees

The Club now has over 550 children registered and we would appreciate prompt payment of membership fees to cut down on administration and chasing.

As in previous years, we will have registration tables at North Road and Christ's School on Saturdays 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th. You can pay membership fees here. Please pay by cheque (one cheque per player this year) and write their name and squad on the reverse. Also PLEASE check registration details. Alternatively you can pre-register by sending a cheque (with child's full name and squad on the back) to Toby Seth at 28 Beechwood Avenue, Kew, Surrey, TW9 4DE If you are a new member, or need to change current details, please complete the attached registration form.

About Fees and Costs of the Club

KPR is a Community Amateur Sports Club and is a non profit-making organization.

Membership fees are set to cover the Club's costs which include, amongst other things:
  • equipment such as balls, posts, nets and cones (£22,500 in 2006)
  • pitch hire (£9,500)
  • coaching fees from Fulham FC (£5,800)
  • training for the Club's volunteer coaches (£500)
  • referees fees (£1,030)
  • our annual barbeque which is free to all members and their families (£3,700).
There is no reduction made for children who do not play regularly in match teams as the majority of the club's expense is incurred in providing training.

The Management Committee has decided to increase fees for the 2007/08 season to cover the increasing costs of the club. We have needed to train and play matches at more expensive locations, such as Westminster University. The club is committed to giving our volunteer coaches (we now have more than 80!!) and referees the appropriate training and at a minimum expects all coaches to be FA Level 1 qualified. We are also increasing our use of coaches from Fulham, Coerver Coaching and Keeps Goalkeeping Academy to further enhance the training all players receive.

Finally, we are anticipating the increased expense of maintaining a new clubhouse when it is built and the costs of getting it up and running. The Management Committee still believes that fees are set at a very reasonable level, when compared to membership of other clubs.

Fees for the 2007/08 season include the cost of a “wet-top” training jacket for those who did not receive one in the 2006/07 season. Rain jackets and other KPR branded training wear will be available through the shop section of the club website and can be purchased through The Shoe Station, in Kew Village, which has become our official club shop.
